The annual 40 Days for Life observance this year starts September 25th and ends November 3rd. 40 Days for Life is an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer, fasting, and community outreach.
The Knights of Columbus are promoting a Novena for Life for the entire parish during this time, which will begin on Sunday, October 13th and end on Monday, October 21st. The Novena invokes the intercession of three US Saints (St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. John Neumann, and St. Frances Cabrini) for the protection of life in all its stages.
Members of our council will be in the Narthex after all Masses the weekend of 10/12-10/13 to distribute a flyer with all the prayers of the Novena, along with a Gospel of Life prayer card with the prayer of St. John Paul II from Evangelium Vitae. The flyer can be downloaded below.

His First Solemn Mass will be here on Sunday, June 30, at the 10:30 am Mass. As part of his planning for that Mass he has asked us to use the new setting we are now learning. This setting is…
